Click on her twitter handle to see her blog post!
For everyone who does not know what the Liebster Award is, it is an award that is on the Internet that exists for New Bloggers! It is a chance to allow new bloggers to get recognized.
There are a few rules for when you get nominated:
1. Answer all 11 questions from the person who nominated you
2. Nominate 11 more blogs
3. Come up with 11 new questions for the new nominees
So here we go!
Do you believe in destiny and fate, if so why? If not, why?
Yes, and No. (Is that allowed? lol) I believe that as a human being we can make our future become what we want. As long as we work hard, have a positive mindset, and truly believe what we are doing, then we can control where our lives go. But, at the same time I do believe that the universe has a plan and will take us where we need to be.
If you were a completely different person, who would you want to be and why?
First, I would want to be born in a different era. I would want to be Abraham Lincoln’s daughter, or mother! I would love to experience my favorite part of history, and go back to a slower pace of life.
You get to travel anywhere you want for 365 days, where would you go? Who would you bring? What would you see?
I would go to Denmark and Finland. I would want to split my time evenly in both places. If I were to pick just one person, it would be my older brother. My family is Danish and Finnish and I would love to submerge myself into our heritage and learn new languages.
If you could redo any moment in your life, what would it be? How would you change it?
This one is really hard. I think it would be my time at Oregon State University. I would figure out a way for me to be able to stay there and finish school, instead of moving to Arizona.
In your past years with friendship, was there one big argument that almost seemed unreal? Did you guys makeup?
My friends and I have never really argued, we have had different views, but nothing that ever escalated to an argument. I am extremely blessed to have such amazing friends.
Where is your dream place to live? Why?
My dream is to one day live in Old Alexandria, Virginia across the Potomac River from Washington D.C. I am studying to become an American History Teacher and I would love to be able to take my future classes on Field Trips to see where American History has been made.
You created a blog, why did you do so? Do you enjoy it? Is there any way you would want to change it?
I made this blog because I wanted a way to document my life, and have a place to voice my opinions and thoughts. I think passing on family history and personal stories is important for families.
What is your dream job, where would you be? How many years of Uni or college would it take?
My dream job is what I am currently studying to become. I want to be an American History Teacher for High School students. By the time I graduate will be 4 and a Half years of University.
If you’ve already had your first job, did you like it? Was it awful? Did you enjoy the people around you?
My very first job was working in Yogurtland, it was pretty awful. All of the messy kids plunging their hands into the toppings. It was gross, lol. But all of the Free Frozen Yogurt was pretty great!
Your favorite place you have ever been to and why?
My favorite place is probably Washington D.C. and Old Alexandria. The hustle and bustle of the city, the peacefulness of the Potomac River, the history that surrounds the cities. It is amazing.
How do you come up with your blog posts? On the spot or do multiple in advance?
I usually write about places I have been, things I have done and made, or History that I love. I come up with the ideas on a list on my phone, and then I write them up and then usually post them right away. I don’t like to wait! XD
Now that I have answered all of the questions, I nominate:

My 11 questions for everyone are:

- What do you do when you aren’t working on your blog?
- Are you a full time blogger? How did you get into blogging and why?
- When you are old, what do you think children will ask you to tell stories about?
- If your job gave you a surprise three day paid break to rest and recuperate, what would you do with those three days?
- In the past people were buried with the items they would need in the afterlife, what would you want buried with you so you could use it in the afterlife?
- What food have you never eaten but would really like to try?
- What “old person” things do you do?
- What are you currently worried about?
- What’s the funniest joke you know by heart?

some interesting points. I love Washington DC too. I love that somewhere that you’d expect to be chaotic is actually very peaceful.

Ooooh, I’m a HUGE Lincoln fan, so I’d love to have known him in real life as well! And Old Town is a beautiful city — my friend used to manage an apothecary museum there and it’s got such history and charm! Loved getting to know you a bit more through these answers!
